Hello,
I have been working on a situation with a group of Polycom VVX500s on a Broadsoft platform. Each device is configured with 30+ BLFs on a VVX Paper Expansion Module. The call flow routes from a uniform distributed call queue to a simultaneous call group. This call group rings 20+ devices, which causes everyones' BLF indicators to flash as well as their phones to ring. The issue is that, seemingly randomly, when a call hits the overflow call group the phones become overwhelmed and pretty much become unresponsive until they are power cycled.
The issue seems to be just the pure number of SIP NOTIFYs that are hitting each phone with the BLF notifications as well as the calls hitting the primary line itself.
What I am looking for is any information or documentation on the maxmimum amount of SIP NOTIFYs or traffic that a VVX500 can handle.
Any information or insight into this is much appreciated, thank you.
